Registration and Accreditation Status

Damelin is registered with the Department of Education as a private education institution under the Higher Education Act of 1997. Our registration number is 01HB09.

All Damelin Higher Education programmes have been conditionally accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC).

We have been given provisional accreditation by Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training. Each campus received a separate Umalusi provisional accreditation number from Umalusi. You can contact your nearest Damelin campus directly to obtain their provisional accreditation number. Agent Programmes

In some instances, Damelin offers programmes of other institutions. Damelin recruits students for these programmes, and provides them with tuition and facilities for assessment. Examples of Agent Bodies include IMM Graduate School of Marketing, University of South Africa (UNISA), and the Southern Africa Institute for Management Scientists (SAIMS). Agent Programmes can be National Qualifications or Short Learning Programmes.
